Jessica is the founder of the club and how it all started!
She says; 'I’m Jess. I’m 25 and I enjoy playing strategic board games and problem solving. I also like to stay active and enjoy exploring new places. I set up the social club in 2019 when I noticed a need for an accessible social space for neurodiverse young adults to meet like minded individuals and build a social network. I have a background in psychology. A lot of my previous work experience involves working with children with special educational needs and disabilities and I am currently training to become an educational psychologist.

Sophie says 'I am 24, I really wanted to try and make friends in a situation that I was comfortable in, after speaking to my sister we decided to start to club to help more neurodiverse people within the community, I love the relaxed set up to socialise with people who understand you and do not judge.
In my spare time I am either with my dogs or working with dogs, I love hiking and exploring new places with my dogs by my side.'

Jordan has been a member of our team for nearly 2 years, he is a vital member of our team, he organises the trips and connects us with other clubs and centres within the community.

Jordan has been a member of our team for nearly 2 years, he is a vital member of our team, he organises the trips and connects us with other clubs and centres within the community.
Jordan says; 'Hello im Jordan! I volunteer at the Daventry Social Club because support for the neurodiverse, like me, stops after childhood so I try to help build a community where we can all feel comfortable being ourselves. My hobbies include pc and console gaming, as well as card games of many varieties'

Noami has been volunteering with us for a while now. She supports with running sessions, trips and is always good to chat to!
Noami says; 'Hey there, My name is Naomi and I’m 23 years old. I am interested in all things craft based - such as pottery, jewellery making, felting, painting etc. And when I’m not making something you can either find my nose in a book or up a climbing wall! I’ve only been a volunteer for about a year but have very much enjoyed finding a place where everyone is comfortable to just be themselves. We can also make a great cup of tea!'

Tamar says; I'm Tamar, Tam for short. I'm 32 but tend to say 22 because I don't feel like I'm in my 30s. My interests are cars, specifically retro cars and Japanese cars. I attend car shows during the summer months. I also enjoy motorsport. I also have an interest in Animals and have my own mini zoo going on at home. I started off as a member and progressed to becoming a volunteer as there's not many clubs like ours and I can be 100% myself with no judgment.'
